DELL 620 Bios pwd removal & SATA/Paragon pb

Hi all,
Just received my new D620. However, bios admin password is set, boot order=hard disk only, and good old method with my still ready ide hard disk from paragon's site, that I have used twice with success (great job!) is not anymore applicable: D620 ships now with S-ATA hard disk...
Before investing too much in new hardware/adapter, I really wonder if I could apply the same method, as I have a doubt that a W98 boot disk would be able to "format c: /s" a S-ATA drive.
If not, any clue?
(sorry if the question was already adressed somewhere, as I really tried to do my best to find it by myself before annoying you :)
Thanks all!

windows 98 does not support serial ATA. furthermore, the size of you average modern SATA drive would be far too much for FAT32 to handle.
