Dell dimension 400S + radeon 9550? what about the power voltage reqs?

Can the ati radeon 9550 work on the Dell Dimension 4300S?

AGP on the 4300S is 4x, so thats not a problem. but can my power supply support it? thanks!

go to this web site to calculate your power requirements and check the side of your power supply to see it's wattage. if your computer needs more wattage than the power supply supports get a new one

hi,
i tried the calculator and got 192+ W, even when my my PSU is 180W. its 212 W if i choose the 9500/9600 series.

should i replace my PSU? i hope not, its a daunting task.

yes you have to get a new PSU. sorry, you can probabally get a cheap one at newegg.com i recommend aroud 350 - 450 watts
