dell notebook cpu change

    i have two older dell latitude notebooks. one is a cpi d266xt the other is a cpi a series with a 400 processor. I like everything about the 266 except the speed. the screen on the 400 is bad. does anyone know if i can install the 400 processor on the motherboard of the 266 machine?
