dialer.dialplatform

  1. hey guys.. my Norton AV has started detecting some dialer (dialer.dialplatform) and its unable to remove it completely.. could anyone of you help me out please..
    My HJK Log is attatched.. please help me out!!
    and yeah.. i m new to HJK too.. dont really know how to use it.. so yeah.. help in simple language will be appreciated!!

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

    Boot into safe mode. See how HERE. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial61.html

    Turn off system restore.(XP/ME only) See how HERE. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial56.html

    In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how HERE. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial62.html

    Run your antivirus scanner and do a complete system scan, remove anything it finds.

    Run HJT with no other programmes open. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchAssistant = http://in.rediff.com/index.html
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://about:blank
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant =

    Fix all 016_DPF entries.

    O18 - Protocol: livecall - {828030A1-22C1-4009-854F-8E305202313F} - "C:\PROGRA~1\MSNMES~1\msgrapp.dll" (file missing)
    O18 - Protocol: msnim - {828030A1-22C1-4009-854F-8E305202313F} - "C:\PROGRA~1\MSNMES~1\msgrapp.dll" (file missing)

    O20 - Winlogon Notify: pptp32 - pptp32.dll (file missing)
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: Uninstall - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hrlq0535e.dll (file missing)
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: winmbj32 - winmbj32.dll (file missing)

    Click on the fix checked button.

    Close HJT.

    Reboot into normal mode and turn system restore back on.

    Let HJT fix this entry.

    O9 - Extra button: Research - {92780B25-18CC-41C8-B9BE-3C9C571A8263} - C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~3\OFFICE11\REFIEBAR.DLL (file missing)

    Once done, your HJT log is clean.
