***SOLVED THE PROBLEM, THANKYOU FOR ALL THE HELP :):):)***

Ive had this computer for about 10 months, and had to put up with no system fans.
I was messing around with my computers inside cables today, trying to get my system fans working for the last time.
I got them working, but turned on the computer to be meet this gastly message.

    Verifying DMI Pool Data...
"DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER"

Uh oh. I really DO NOT want to format my hardrive, I have too much to loose.
Is there a way I can fix this, or is my hardrive already stuffed?

Maybe I connected the wrong SATA cable...?

Does the hardrive only need 1 cable connected to it? Ive only got a SATA sable connected to it, is there anything else I need to connect, because I can't find anything that would connect.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

It needs a power cable and the cable going to the motherboard connected to it.

I cant find the power cable...Or the motherboard cable...Just the SATA one...

The Sata cable is the one going to the motherboard. There should also be a power cable. a little one with a black end, about 1.5x the size of the sata cable's end.

Actually, its the big one with white writing saying SATA on it that goes to the power source...And the mini one going to motherboard....Ill see if it works one sec.

EDIT: ARGH the computer beeps when turned on now...Didnt work at all.

    Are you talking about this:

You need Power and data to the Harddrive

So where does the pictured one go? That one plugs into the HD, right?

EDIT: I found a Serial ATA cable, what does that do?

If you have the one that goes to the power supply, you need the one that goes to the motherboard.

    This one:

Yeah I do I'm pretty sure, except they all say Serial ATA on it.
