Dmboot.sys problem

hey.. when i try to install a fresh copy of windows xp after a while it says dmboot.sys is corrupter.. what does that mean É does it mean that file on my windows xp cd is corrupted or is it something inside the computer. please help me out., thank you

Make sure the disk isnt damaged but Id say its either bad RAM or the CD drive is faulty.
