Do all wireless routers have ports for cables?

My uncle needs a home networking solution that incorporates both wireless and wired CAT5/ethernet cable. I found a D-Link wireless router that also has 4 ports for cables connections. So I'm wondering if all wireless router have this or is this a special feature in "hybrid" routers? Also, can the both be used simultaneously?

Thanks in advance,

Dan

Almost, but not all Wireless Routers have a built in Hub or switch.

And yes, you can use wireless and wired networking at the same time, but there are additional steps involved in getting wireless running.
