does ATA 133 support ATA100 devices?

if i have an ATA133 IDE connector on my mother board can a WD ATA100 80GB drive work or no?

yes. ata133 controllers are backwards compatible with ata100, 66, 33 and lower interfaces. the ide channel will simply lower to the ata100 speeds, so any other ata133 devices on the same channel will now run at ata100 specs.
