Does constant restarting effect your CPU?

  1. Hi all...
    I was wondering if restarting my computer effects it. Like should i limit the amount of times i restart it. So will it eventually ware out my CPU or computer in anyway?

    Hi rross48,

    Restarting your computer should have no ill effects on your computer or CPU.

    this is an old argument. While thermal expansion and cotraction do effect electronics, by the time they will have any effect on your system - it will already be obsolete. So don't worry about it.
