anyone hear rumors of the Source 2 engine?
Valve/Steam's next engine is rumored to be in progress and of amazing standards

Source 2 I haven't heard of (well I spose I have now ) could be nice. Is it actually a completely new engine or just a major update to it compared to the smallish updates done to it over time?

Not entirely sure either way

but i'd like to find out

Once again, only a rumor, but im not crazy

I'll bet its a complete revamp. I DON"T think that specific one was source 2, but a beta version (as stated on that page) of the standard engine update.

I think the next engine will be just like the current, like having a supermodel come up to you in the bar, you take her out for a drink, then find out she has had 3 kids, her career has failed, and she has STD's.

They really messed up with Steam, IMHO.

anyways I really need to stop browsing Techspot and really get back to my work, I have a project plan I need to complete in like 5 hours eek.
