Please Help!!!!!!! Sometimes when i hit the back button in internet explorer it goes back 2 pages or sometimes 3 or 4 pages back......what will cause this....I have XP home eddition, i have reinstalled IE and still no changes....I reinstalled the driver for my optical mouse and still no changes........should i just get a new mouse? or do something else.

i had a similar problem, but when i clicked, the mouse wouldnt respond, and when it did, it clicked 3 or 4 times in a row.

first thing to do would be to check with a different mouse if the problem happens, the problem with my mouse was that it was broken.
