Downgrade from Vista to XP

I have an acer aspire 5920 laptop with windows vista and i want to downgrade to xp.
Can i just install the xp disk's or do i need to do anything special.

You want to make sure you have all the drivers for your laptop from the Acer website (if available) or it won't work right if at all.

as mailpup said, first make sure acer has XP drivers for your laptop, otherwise you will have to keep vista

I found the Xp drivers here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=215539
But I haven't downloaded any (because I don't like Rapidshare) but I'd suggest to download them all first, before installing Xp. Then extract and burn to a CD

Thanks for the help I hope it works i cant stand vista it's nice and all just to many bugs.
