  1. Im running vista premium and i was wanting to downgrade to XP. First off should i do this to speed up my comp? And second does the XP Home Edition come with sound and modem drivers? I would purchase it at Best Buy. Thanks in advance

What is your Computer make or model?

If you post the comp make if it is retail then someone on here maybe able to help

Your computer would be faster with XP since it won't need as much comp resources as Vista. But whether the Drivers are available i don't know. You could do a search on Google for drivers, sometimes when people have looked for drivers like you need them they have looked at lower models in the comp range.

XP won't come with the Drivers for your system, but having looked at the support site for your comp If you have the latest BIOS update they indicate that is compatible with XP but the other Drivers aren't.

I will post any findings for the XP Drivers if i find any.

EDIT: Here this forum thread should help with the XP Drivers for your system -
    Hope this helps.
