    Dragon NatSpeak - mic in use

    I used Dragon Naturally Speaking 5 with no problems a couple of weeks ago.

    Since then I have be recording some mp3 files and audio using MusicMatch, Creative Recorder & RealOne. I have not made any changes that I am aware off.

    I tried to use "Dragon" today and got a message:
    "Microphone is in use by another application".

    BTW I am running Win2k.

    Any ideas?

    I got it!

    The new driver I downloaded for my sound card added a second volume panel of it's own. Not the on that's on the System tray.

    I went to ADD & Remove programs and removed it.

    That took care of the problem.
