Aren't we always doing that when we build our rigs?

When I built my machine, it's not the fastest, but I try to get the biggest bang for my bucks for the parts.

    From: http://www.techspot.com/vb/showthread.php?t=57952

    ASRock 775Dual-VSTA $55.99
    Intel Pentium D 805 Smithfield 2.66GHz $95.00
    CORSAIR VALUE SELECT 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 $95.99
    Western Digital Caviar SE WD1600JS 160GB $55.99
    LITE-ON Black 16X $29.99
Spire BlackFin VI SP-2705B Case $22.99
    ENERMAX EG425P-VE $59.99
Ati Radeon 9600xt $0.00 (reused from older comp)
Monitor $0.00 (reused from older comp)
Keyboard/Mouse $0.00 (reused from older comp)
    Speakers$0.00 (reused from older comp)

$415.94 and you could drop the burner off and get a cheaper power supply and 512 RAM. If you read the thread I linked I got the price down to $384 or so. And those are prices from 2 months ago. Cheaper now I bet.
