Burners wear out... Try another optical drive

    Your Drive is Bad...

    "W 22:19:19 Failed to Write Sectors 1408 - 1439 - Reason: Spindle Servo Failure"

This indicates a hardware failure. You should get a new drive, or return this one if still under warranty.

    My resolution to this problem

    Hi!

I just registered on this site to inform of my resolution to the OP's problem:

I had the same incident in ImgBurn (failure to write sectors; "spindle servo failure" after attempting to burn an .iso to 2 different DVD+RW of 2 different brands). After troubleshooting, I discovered that I still had one virtual drive active (Daemon Tools Lite) from an earlier operation, although unmounted. I disabled the virtual drive and performed the ImgBurn operation again - with flawless results!

In this instance, the problem was not with the media or the drive. Good luck!

    Valk,
Disk imaging programs can cause problems with burning, but the chances are better that msx300 has a bad drive. I use Daemon Tools Lite, and i have no problems burning. I suppose that certain burners are more "sensitive" than others

Sounds like might be a drive issue. Here's a couple useful tools as well to check out your cd/dvd drives and media

    Nero Disk Speed (for Windows)
    VSO Inspector

But given the post by Valk, good to check that out too
