DVD writter

Installed a new dvd writter (LG). Burns DVD's fine. When I insert a dvd that was burnt earlier it displays fine, if i re-insert another dvd that was burnt prior to this, the dvd drive seems to display the origional and not the dvd that is inserted. Any ideas.

Hi terrybalcome and Welcome to TechSpot Forum..

Press F5 a few times, your not on your own, say I insert an apps disk then change it to an OS disk it still shows the app disk, until I hit F5 a few times, then it will change.

I think its worse under XP then it was in 2K, but maybe its just me, I never got round to asking why, I just lived with it, but if we get an answer i'll take it onboard.
