    Same issue

I had the same issue. I ran the dxdiag that was posted and found that on tab 'Display' AGP Texture Acceleration was enabled. I disabled it, and my video now runs perfectly. No more dxva_sig text docs. Yeah!

Luckily for me, this site was the fist place I found for an answer. Thanks guys! Gotta love the web.

hi guys, i started getting this so found you on here.

Running XP Pro SP2, MP11, all patched uptodate.

Installed this machine 3 weeks ago for father inlaw to watch "at the races" streaming online.

It worked fine till end of last week.

When i re-visit the streaming video is pink, the sound is choppy, and the system hangs. Oh and theres the infamous file on the desktop.

    WTF happened to it?

    Easy fix

Open Dxdiag (DirectX diagnostic utility) and go to the Display page, then disable AGP Texture Acceleration.

what kind of anitivirus program do you have?

This has nothing to do with a virus, it is a hardware issue.

It happens when the AGP Texture Acceleration feature in DirectX is enabled on a system that does not have an AGP video card, for example any system built in the last couple of years (which all use either PCI-X or PCI-E).
