This started happening when I took it in for a repair after the Hard drive crashed after a lightening storm. They replaced the hard drive and now I cannot play a CD without it making popping noises and slowing down. Only the E drive. I have tried cleaning the dust, and I made sure the CD had no scratches. Anybody have an Idea?

You probably have a laser dirty with an dust or other , you change that cd from the drive?With another one , fresh burn?That is two options , also refer to qualified service personal only
