Earphones/Microphone Help

I've had my microphone for a long while and i had a certain program i used it with.
I also used my earphones with it. Now its not on my computer anymore. I can't remember the name of it, either. I have a strong feeling my brother deleted it off the computer because thats what he does with all of my stuff. I just want to know if there is anyway i can get it back so i can use my stuff again.

What did you use that program for? Talking to others? Just recording your voice? Please be more specific about what the program did.

well wen i plugged my mic in 2 use it that program automaticly come up and i used it 2 adjust the volume
