Elon Musk wants Tesla to cut 10% of jobs, pause all hiring over his 'super bad feeling'...

It's really astounding how the Left suddenly dumps the guy that was going to save the world from Global Warming. Just because he supports Free Speech.
So I dislike Elon Musk, and you automatically brand me a leftist, against freedom freedom of speech. Gee, it seems a you're "hypocritist". My "freedom of speech", seems to be predicated on my agreeing with you.

If I said, "Trump was the greatest president the US has ever had, and thank god for our savior Elon Musk", would you allow me back into the far right wing, "heads up your a**es elite"?

I have some bad news for you. "I'm buying Twitter to promote freedom of speech", is just a pretense. Musk doesn't want to get dressed and have to chase down a TV camera every time he does one of his bizarre rants.

That way, he can lounge about in his civvies, and, "switch parties and gain a stroke", without getting out of bed.

When others are referring to Musk as the Emperor of Mars in their news releases, Musk is going to become marginalized if not the brunt of a number of jokes.

Not really a fan of Elon but even other countries stated Americans will go through another recession and anyone curious watch Australia Sky News on youtube. They have a good track record on reporting what's going on in America and future predictions.

It's rather more likely because he's not alone in the EV market anymore. Everybody is making electric cars these days, and most of them have a far better reputation than he does.

When, (or if), you think about it, aren't mass layoffs likely to cause an additional downturn in an already bad economy?

That reads illogical to me. If Tesla is affected by the global recession, which it has oodles of pre-orders for years to come, how would a much smaller automaker manage it? They would have even bigger, more effective, layoffs is the answer.

You don't have to like Musk but c'mon, stop allowing your displeasure for him to control your logical thinking.

Well, I see this as being predestined. What did the snowflakes, workplace drama divas, cancel culture, etc. all expected? That they could just unleash their venom of hatred, division, forced wokeness, etc. and it would not lead to any repercussions?

Like it or not, Tesla is a huge LEADING force in the global market and what Tesla does, surely, others will follow very soon. NVIDIA, etc. have already announced that they are freezing all new hires.

Buckle-up, Sleepy Joe, doing a mid-term election! 😂

Smaller automaker? Like who? Toyota? I think you must be misinformed if you think that the major automakers, which is where the competition in EVs is coming from - BTW, are smaller than Tesla.

Ford has plenty of pre-orders for its electric F-150 as well. In fact they had stop taking them too. Or are you suggesting that
Ford motors is a "small company", and of not being able to compete with the likes of Tesla?

Guess what, layoffs only serve to deepen an evolving recession. So, Musk trying to pass them off as necessary, and a favor to mankind as it were, is just Musk covering his own a**, nothing more.

I don't how you managed to drag the midterm elections and all this "anti-woke bullsh!t" into this thread, but it would seem you made a wrong turn trying to get to Twitter.

Tesla loses money hand over fist. It's just that his groupies are too stupid to notice it.

What part of this are you too dull to understand?

You coulda' fooled me. All I've heard from you thus far is a load of crap out of the Trump is actually still president handbook

Here's that Twitter link again: https://twitter.com/?lang=en
😂🤣😂

Nope, I didn't like Trump either but, as FACTS has proven, he's the best choice on many levels and I'm not making this about politicians but you can't avoid politics, etc. when it comes to inflation, a recession, and possibly, another great depression in an election year.

All this stuff will come up doing their campaign debate (chip shortages, scalping, etc.). You can try to ignore it, censor it, or whatever but you can't stop the inevitable. 🤑

I think if you ask the "man in the street" what's the best electric car, Tesla will come up more times than not. That's not to say it's the best, but I think people equate Tesla with being one of the best electric cars out there. I think Musk has a much better reputation with the hoi poloi than you might think.
Back in the late 50's and early 60's, young upcoming actresses used to like to keep pet ocelots.(**) Well PETA, the CITES treaty, or one of their predecessors stepped in and put and end to that. But you're right, a Tesla roadster is the new, "pet cat", of the Hollywood set.

(**) Paradoxically, they would often be photographed walking said ocelot, on a leopard skin coat.

Since when is trimming excess fat from the workforce is a reason to "force out" any executive?

In any case, Musk, his brother Kimbal, and close buds Ellison and Denholm have the board vote pretty much locked down.
That's cancel culture response when they fail to get what they want.

Tesla = Musk, not the other way around. 😂

Eh? Tesla's been turning a profit for over two years now.
Right, since the Chinese government built him a factory. Before that, Tesla was hardy ever in the black. Two years in the black, hardly compares to the more than a decade Tesla's was awash in a sea of red ink.

Yeah, that's what they all lead in, DISINFORMATION, until the WISE call them out on their BS and then, just watch them slither and crash-&-burn on their silly back-peddling claims. 😂
