Excel: Sorting with Formula

  1. I'm working with an excel document and I am having trouble with the sorting function since I have formulas within my data. Whe I use the sort function, the reference cell does not shift to the new position as it normally woud when you use copy or cut command. Is there a way to get around this?

    You sure youre sorting down and not across?

    YEP! a real bummer! (my Office 2000 at least). seems like it would have been so obvious that this needed to work, but I've never got it right in several years now :(

    As far as I know. What I do is select the spreadsheet cells that contains data and click sort ascending. Here is the screenshot
