Facebook messenger for android

Can someone please help me ? I have a android phone samsung J5 , and I have the facebook app and the messenger app installed inside. my problem is that I can't make video calls from the messenger app ( the video image does not appear inside the messenger app) . I believe that it is not a phone problem because if I log in with an other account I can make a video call . so it must be a facebook setting . can someone please help me
