Can anyone here recommend a good finance program? I heard that GNUcash was good, but has been discontinued I think.

i think sun microsystems has some useful stuff in thier open office project, and they have other open source stuff available for download.

good is relative. To me, the question is how much accounting do you know AND
wish to exercise? Quick books is trivial to use, but is not a real accounting system --it just classifies your expenses into groups you can define.
I've been using M.Y.O.B. on a Mac for years and it is just great. There's a PC
version, but 1) I don't like the controls and 2) the product has been sold to
another vendor and they've integrated backwards into their product line.

I've not found a PC accounting program that is easy to use, inexpensive, and
full function A/R, A/P, invoicing, custom forms, P/L, Balance sheet, budgets.
Guess I'll just stick with the Mac
