Firefox settings problem

I am behind a proxy, and i have to put the settings in to the connections box. Now, i do not know what happened but every time i open firefox again. The proxy server name is just blanc ans it gets to me when i have to re-put-it-in every time.

Most Firefox glitches can be cured by fully uninstalling then reinstalling.

1.First save Bookmarks - Bookmarks/Manage/File/Export

2.Uninstall from Add/Remove programs.

3.Go to Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Mozilla directory and delete the entire \Firefox subdirectory

4.Reinstall.
