First time building pc help

ok, this is my first build and im having trouble. it seems like the mother board is not getting power. It will not turn on or anything. but when i put the power port into the psu tester all the lights and fans in the case will go on, then when i plug it back into the mobo nothing happens. What could be making this happen if its the mobo i want 2 know fast so i can return it if it is same with cpu

It might help to know what motherboard this is.

never mind i fixed it


there was a wire that was cut so i had 2 replace it and it worked great thanks anyway
