I love how you make these broad sweeping, yet extremely short sighted and narrow scoped pronouncements. Or should we call them, "declarations", or "edicts", or maybe, "proclamations"?"The best product" is whatever the free market determines is the "best product".
Products that aren't good, don't sell.
Not selling makes them go extinct because the companies behind them stop producing them as they cost more to produce than they earn in revenue or profit.
You really need to learn these economic basics before you try to argue them.
Allow me to reiterate, your "free market" runs on pure propaganda, and the stupidity, gullibility, and malleability of the consumer's minds.
While it is true that bad products will go away, overpriced one certainly stay the course. A very common example of this exists in grocery stores. You can buy a pound of store brand butter, ($3.00), versus "Land of Lakes" butter, for $5.00 a pould. Since I obviously don't have your sophistication and savvy with regard to pretty much anything, I can't tell the difference.
It's fair to say that indoctrination and development of brand recognition is as important as quality. Thus brand loyalty, is purely a product of propaganda and indoctrination..
As far as your self esteem and ego are concerned, why are you constantly inundating us with how fabulous your rig(s?) are concerned, when you're pretty much a low life with respect to stealing copyrighted materials (IE "Picard" and "The Mandalorian", so you "don't get ripped off"?
It stands to reason that if these shows are "good product worth stealing", then excessive pirating would lead to statistics pointing toward them not being accepted and consumed and consequently cancelled. That's how your "free market" works
