I have an MSI K8MM-V motherboard that is haveing issues with floppy drives. The problem is that I have two drives connected to the board but it recognizes them both as the same drive and tries to read from or write to both drives at once. In my os it only shows one floppy drive (A) instead of 2 (A & B) but when I try to write to or read form the drive it tries to access both at once. I have looked in bios but I can't find any settings to allow the board to recognize both drives seperately. Any help would be much appreciated. It would be a real waste to have to replace a motherboard just because it can't recognize the floppy drives properly.

Well MSI just got back to me on the issue and it turns out that the board does not support two floppy drives and this is the problem so it look s like I will need a new motherboard. I'll start a new topic on that. There is no further need to respond to this one.
