Force refresh rate to 120Hz?

    im running 1920x1080 at 60 hertz. what file do i have to get into to force it to 120 hertz which is what my monator is able to run.thanks for any help. morgan

    insignia/ns32l...... t.v.,monitor ,its remote is set up for computer use as if they new thats what alot of people woul;d be using it for. thanks for any help. i was told somewhere in the eid is where i can make changes to windows. whatever. seems alot of people have asked this question on another site and received pretty much the same answer. least im not alone but still unsure about it. anyway i ramble,sorry. this is what happens when your over the hill and starting out on a new adventure/occupation in life. take care morgan

    You cant get the refresh rate to 120Hz. It's a 60Hz tv.

    You can run a game at 120 fps or 240 for that matter, but your tv will only show up to 60 frames per second anyway. cause it is a 60Hz tv.

    The specs say 120Hz for TV. Computer display is limited to 60Hz
