Formatting and partitioning windows xp with startup disk

  1. Can anyone help me. My problem is i want to format and partition my XP with startup disk and then install windows using the CD's. But i dont know how to use the startup disk:stickout:

    Are you talking about a floppy disk??

    If you have a proper XP install disk then it is bootable and you don't need a boot floppy!! You just have to make sure that cdrom is you first boot device in your bios and away you go!!!!
