Yes, very slow to boot up. Takes less than an hour, I think. I ran some AV/AM scans on it, rebooted fine. Turned it off, waited a few minutes, pushed power button on & about 45 plus minutes later it was on.
With his permission & warranty expired, I reset it to factory setting over night & have been running same scans Sophos, RogueKiller running now & other scans. Turned it off & again it took about 30 plus minutes to boot up. . Any ideas why it takes so long?? This is one reason why I don't like all in one, can't blow dust bunnies out very easily, thanks for any help

Examine Services.MSC and turn off ALL update tasks.

Look for Mapped Drives and DISCONNECT all of them.

For a Win/10 system, STOP login with Windows ID and setup Local Logon.

ITS an ALL in one, cannot get inside. I believe it has 2gb's of ram. Will check it out later, thanks :)

If it's never been opened, then this approach is a low probability

Ok, right now I don't have it, he took it back shortly after my last post. I don't think it has any screws on the back but I will check in a bit. Will post back either way.

@jobeard How would I do such? I just talked to the owner & if it don't take me too long (novice in this area), I'd like to try it. It does have a CD/DVD slot.

@jobeard @Cycloid Torus FWIW, its model # is 20-c020

I took the stand off it & noticed another screw, if I remove that screw, would it give me access to inside?? Or just forget about it & enjoy it as a technology door stop :)
