Fx 5500 problem

will a card <fx 5500 256mb agp 8x> which requires min 250 w power supply work with a 230 w power supply?

it might, but 230 is VERY undersized. I would not run a computer with less than 450W.

I agree with Tedster. After learning the hard way a few years ago, I've always stuck to the 450-500 watt range on psu's. It's better to have additional power than not enough. Especially with the video cards of today.
