Games all of the sudden lagging

Hey,

I bought a pre-built gaming computer a few months ago and I've had no lag(FPS) problems at all. Today when I booted it, I opened my favorite game and its lagging like crazy. I don't know if its something bottlenecking or its some kind of malware/virus etc. I've tried Malwarebytes(free version) and deleted the files that were said to be infected, still having lots of lag. Please help guys, Thanks!

You are fine. Try downloading the latest nvidia driver from here. Choose the "Custom Install" option then Check the box that says "Clean Install". Tell me if that fixes the issue.
