could install win 95 or win 98 on the smae drive and use 'BootMagic' or something to choose which one to boot from or...

there are also options in windows to run with certain amounts of backward s compatibility.....

Right click 'Properties' on the .Exe program files...
there you will find option for backward compatibility. etc..

Hope this helps......

Depending on the age of the game there are programs that will slow your processor down to speeds acceptable to old games. Go to the underdog website www.the-underdogs.org and you can down load slomo plus some staleware , freeware and other good stuff.

If you're trying to run a game such as Duke Nukem 3D & need a way for it to "detect" a SB Compatible card, try VDMSound. It works quite well with games that aren't too old.

If that doesn't work, try out DosBox.

The game compatibility list for DosBox can be found HERE.
