  1. Gateway has refreshed its NV notebook series, delivering AMD's Brazos platform in a full size mobile package. The 15.6-inch NV51B0u represents the line's flagship system and is priced at only $469.99, which gets you a 1.6GHz dual-core E-350 Fusion APU with a Radeon HD 6310 IGP. A second system, the NV51B08u, is even cheaper at $399.99 and is powered by the 1GHz dual-core C-50 processor and HD 6250 graphics.

Best Buy had the C-50 model for $350 2 weeks ago. We returned like 10% of them for not booting past splash screen. The one's that worked even with the 1Ghz CPU they ran Win 7 64bit very well. Can't beat the price.

The Brazos is a nice platform with the E-350. Been reading some extensive threads by owners of the Lenovo x120e and overall it is an excellent buy with 4 gigs of RAM and Win 7 64.
