GeForce 6800 LE lags on everything

Hi i recently purchased a GE-Force 6800 LE card from dabs but whenever i play on any game it Lags like crazy.
I am very angry as the site i got it off had several reviews saying it was brilliant and could play games like Battlefield 2 on highest with no lag but mine lags on the lowest settings
Has anyone got any suggestions for me?

Ok then they are:
AMD Athlon 3500 x64
1 Gig DDR RAM
Gigayte K8 Triton AGP 8X Motherboard
80 Gig Hard Drive
ASUS DVD-ROM
Emperex Dual Layer DVD-RW

That card has low clock and memory speeds and only has 8 pipes. You may be able to use Rivatuner to unlock the other 4-8 pipes and I would deffinately try overclocking it. I tried unlocking but it didnt make much difference i think its a problem with the card as i am now back on my old Radeon 9550 which does low-medium without any noticable lag
I have now returned it to dabs as faulty there is one more thing that i need help with though if you could
Has anyone got any suggestions for me for a new card
The limitations are a £200 ish budget and it has to be AGP and on Dabs.com because thats the only site my parents will buy from and i dont have a debit/credit card

That processor is nice which means the video card is the obvious problem.

AHA great minds think alike that was the one i was thinkingof going for cheers mate
Any other suggestions would be welcome though youcve got about a week until i get the 120 i wasted on the LE back

Dabs has an Radeon X850 Pro for 175. That looks like the best AGP card they have and its a pretty good on. Ive built a computer with one and it performed almost as well as a 6800GT. It also overclocked really well.

My son just upgraded from a 9800 ATI to a ATI 1600
and called me from his friends house saying the card sucked...
After kicking it around for awhile we determined that he forgot to go into the setup and change the card fro 128 megs to 256 megs.
He made the change and it works flawslessly..
Oh, the 7800 Nvidia can now be bought for about 259$ after a 20$ rebate from Pricewatch..has 20 pipelines and is rated very high..
Doubt if this helps much as my son has a better understanding of the internal workings of the comp than me, but good luck.
