GeForce 9400 GT work with Gateway DX4720-03?

  1. I was in the process of looking for a computer for my friend to buy, cause he needs a new one, and I've run into a small road block.
I don't know if a card such as the GeForce 9400 GT that says it uses a PCI-E x16 2.0 slot will work with the Gateway DX4720-03 he was planning on buying from newegg here:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883113078

It doesn't say anywhere that I can find on the internet if the slot on there is 2.0 or not.

    My questions are:
Will the card that says it needs 2.0 work if the slot turns out to be 1.0?
What IS the slot on that computer? is it 2.0 or not?

it does not really matter, the card will work either way, but on that computer I bet it is not a 2.0.

    Alright, thanks for the help.
I wanted to check with someone else before I tell him to go buy stuff, cause I haven't slept in 2 days and I make mistakes when i do that.
Thanks everyone.... I shall tell him that it will work... I'm still gonna recommend he build it from scratch though.
