Geforce TI 4200 128MB or FX 5700 LE 256MB???

  1. I am planing to buy either Geforce TI 4200 128MB or FX 5700 LE 256MB but I don't know which one is better for me. I will need a card that is able to handle games like doom3,... If any has experienced about these two please give me some advices.

    The Ti card is a great card for older games, but the 5700le is better for newer dx 9 games. Doom really uses graphics memory, so 256mb would probably help the 5700le. Here's a link. The 5700le isn't listed, but it's similar to a 5500 regular and definitely better than a 5200.

    Go with the 5700. It will preform much better.

    Thanks guys. I finally bought the 5700 LE. I run Doom 3 in High Details mode w/o any problem.

    Please someone help me locate this FX 5700 LE 256MB in PCI form!!!
    I've seen many posts online that it exists.
