Hi Folks
I thought I would ask this question on here as I have tried to find an answer on line.
I have the following equipment in my front room:
65 inch LG B7 OLED tv. The HDMI inputs on the TV are 2.0. Tv can do 120hz
PC is Ryzen 5 -3600 with an RTX2070
Denon avr-1400h with 4k pass through with 60hz
I want to get the best picture when gaming or even watching a movie
Currently the set up is: PC --->Receiver--->TV (same with my UHD Blue ray)
I understand now by doing it this way through the receiver, it is choking it at 60hz and will not allow 120hz from the pc to pass through.
My question is: What is the best way to set this up to get the best picture for gaming.?
Should I just keep it the same?
or got PC--->Tv--->Receiver?
I don't mind buying the HDMI cables I need, but I also don't want to buy Ultra HDMI (that will handle 120) if I don't have to.
Thank you everyone in advance in reading this and helping me out here.
