GF3 halflife / cs help plz!

Hi, i am using a gf3 ti200 in winXP with detonatorXP 28.32 drivers.
My monitor is very dark, so i increase gamma / brightness in the display drivers. For some reason, when i open counter-strike the settings return to default and it is way too dark. Is there any way i can force counter-strike to use and maintain my display settings?
    Thanks in advance!

It is probably just a bug in the drivers/game theirselves. Try a different video renderer.. Such as Direct 3D (if you are using Open GL) or Open GL if you are using Direct 3D.

I've moved this topic from "Audio & Video" to this forum since it has the narrow scope of Counterstrike only.

when you say "i increase gamma / brightness in the display drivers" is that in windows or in counterstrike?? In counterstrike go to Configuration>video and in there you can change the gamma and so on...
