I bought two boards,,i am having problems with drive configurations from the start. Units will not see the A drive or will drop the A drop suddenly. Hard drives will not boot. Norton sees no problem with the drives etc.. Been able to get one loaded with windows...A few minutes later have to re-boot....hard drive cannot be found.. Running 1700+ on one and 2100+ on the other.. 512 megabyte PC2100 DDR Ram... Board swithes are correct with respect to the CPU's 266FSB. Any ideas out there on why I am having so much problem with trying to build these systems

Check your bios settings Gigabyte usually has a very good maunal with their boards. check your settings against the recommended setting listed in the manual. also first thing go in and set your bios to fail safe defaults this is the most stable settings and go from there.
