Hard disk problem??

hey,
i really cant figure out what to do. please help.
i just put in a new hardrive and it shows up in the hardware manager but not in my computer. i know it works because i took it from another one of my cmomputers and also because i put it in as a master for a few minutes to transfer some files. now that i want it as a slave it wont show up.
help plz

How is this drive formatted? NTFS or FAT32? What operating system is installed the computer?

it is ntfs and windows xp

Did you set the jumper on the hard drive correctly???
