this is my computer information.

computer : acer aspire M1461
os : Windows vista ultimate sp1
cpu : intel pentium dual cor e2220-2.46
hdd : 160 sata
bios : R01-B2

Its probably because of how your bios is set for sata drives (native mode, rather then emulating ide which many XP users do to avoid needing to install sata drivers during xp install). It is because the sata standard allows for hot swappable drives, like usb, but obviously you don't want to do that because it is also your OS drive.

I think there is a way you can change it to make your drive not show up, but I don't know how. It isn't a big deal though, so I wouldn't worry about it, and if someone replies with how to change it then I would if it bothers you.
