Hard drive help

  1. I recently purchased a Hitachi internal hard drive (3.5") off of eBay and an ATA external hard drive enclosure case (3.5"). According to the description, the hard drive was ATA. When the hard drive came in, it turned out to be SATA. Is there a way to get my SATA hard drive to work with the ATA enclosure case? I am willing to purchase any needed cables, connectors, etc. Any help is much appreciated. THANK YOU.

Even if you found an adapter to do that, it wouldn't fit into the enclosure. Just sell the drive or the enclosure and buy a new correct one.
