Hard drive recognized wrong

I just noticed that after installing my new motherboard, that my Maxtor 200 g hard drive shows 203 gigs in the bios, but in My Computer it only shows 127 gigs. I've downloaded the large hard drive patch from Maxtor, but it didn't help. And I've done a Google and didn't find much either except the Maxtor patch and a registry change, that I'm reluctant to do unless someone knowledgeable of this gives me advice.

I know the answer is probably here at TS, but I can't find it doing a search. Anybody know what to do?

Changing your registry is very safe if you follow the instructions exactly. Just back up your registry to an external source (CD, USB Drive, ect) before you change it.
