Hard drive goes from 1/4th to 3/4th's full

Before the W10 upgrade, I had 3/4 empty harddrive, now it shows its dang near full, why?
Did the W10 updates eat all the empyty space up

If you don't plan on reverting to Win7, you can delete the old Win7 folder. Run Disk Cleanup to remove it.

Well dang, I did as you said & even saw it say "removing previous 7 so I did another complete defrag & thats the image it now shows.

Only ~8 GB increase in free space? That's not a lot. Guess it varies from install to install. MIine was ~30 GB.

Try using Windirstat to see what's taking up the space.

Looks like previous version of Windows is still there. Says Windows.Old @ 25.3 GB.

Give this a try again, which is what I think you did before. While you're there, if restore points are taking up space, and you don't think you need them, go ahead and delete them.
