Hardware reserved memory

I went into my Registry Editor, then HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management, and changed the ClearPageFileAtShutdown to 1.

Upon restarting (and checking DXDIAG), the RAM increased. (see attached).
"ClearPageFileAtShutdown to 1" is a security issue for leaving the pagefile with 'last known content' ON THE DISK while the system is not running. It has absolutely nothing to do with Memory NOR Hardware Reserves. Something else was changed prior to your last boot.

What makes absolutely no sense is that the system will not start with 1 stick of memory, either one and now you show 12 Gb ram but how do you do that with 2 sticks one 8Gb and one 4 Gb? Can you tell us what the two sticks of ram are make and model as well as speed because it sounds like the ram is incompatible frankly.

Please see attached.
And I must apologize; I did not realize one of the RAM was 8GB. I honestly thought I had two 4G sticks in my system.
