Having Problems Playing MPEG-2 in WinDVD

  1. Hi All,

I am writing this message in the hopes that someone out there could help me resolve some issues I am having playing certain MPEG-2 videos in WinDVD 8 Platinum. Specifically, when I play particular MPEG-2 videos in WinDVD 8, I notice that the video becomes slightly jittery (or you could call it hiccupy) at specific points in the video. These jittery issues always occur at the same points in the videos when I play them in WinDVD 8, but do not occur when I play the MPEG-2 videos in other media players (Real Player, Windows Media Player), in which the videos play perfectly fine. Can someone please tell me why these specific videos become jittery at points when I play them in WinDVD, but not in other media players? How can I fix this issue in WinDVD 8? Listed below are some specs for my computer.

    Thanks Very Much!

    Patrick
