I have a question, I have a 512mb 3 cas latency stick in my mobo right now, if i was to add a 2 cas latency stick will it work?

If it does not very well. Not a good idea to mix them up.

This is a qoute from here - http://forums.plentyoffish.com/datingPosts1892275.aspx

"When I used a 512 megabyte PC3200 CL3 stick with a 1 Gigabyte PC3200 CL2.5 stick the difference in latency did two things: it made the computer unstable and slow, and the bios registered both of the sticks as PC2700. I've read about mixing latencies and this is pretty much expected."

oh snap. not good then. Thanks I figured there would be something wrong with doing that.

never mix and match ram speed, brands, or types. You're asking for trouble. All memory sticks should be the same if possible.

Good advice to live by there!
