HDD not found in BIOS

So after coming back from a vacation, my computer failed to start. I have 2 HDD's one with my OS and major programs, the other just storage (and an old windows xp on it). The storage one shows up in bios, but my main drive does not. I looked into storage management and my main hdd is there, but has a different drive letter, and says that it is empty. Any help would be appreciated.

Its good you saw it in the disk management...just change the drive later and will show up. I guess you are using win7 right? and have you also enable the drive in the BIOS Setup??
